Prince Mahmud has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Chandpur Science and Technology University (CSTU) since April 30, 2023. He was promoted to the position of Assistant Professor on March 8, 2026.

Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) from March 13, 2023, to April 29, 2023. Before that, he worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Khwaja Yunus Ali University (KYAU) from October 29, 2018, to March 12, 2023.

He completed his S.S.C. from Boyra Secondary School, Khulna, in 2009 and his H.S.C. from Govt. M. M. City College, Khulna, in 2011. He obtained his B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering Discipline from Khulna University in 2018 and later completed his M.Sc. from the same university.

He is passionate and enthusiastic about his career and aims to build a strong academic and research career in teaching and research. His research interests include Algorithms, Bioinformatics, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Neural Networks.
